Each treatment is preceded by an initial trichological consultation and trichoscopic examination.

During the head spa treatment ceremony, you will fully immerse yourself in harmony of the senses, experiencing the pleasure of touch, sound, taste, smell, and sight. Let your senses enjoy every moment of relaxation – from aromatic oils and soothing touches, to relaxing sounds, eye relaxation, and unique tastes. Discover a new dimension of relaxation and care at TrichoSpa.

Trichological treatments

Each trichological treatment is a ritual that blends relaxation with care for your scalp and hair. The treatment is preceded by a scalp and hair examination using one of the best trichological cameras. This allows us to thoroughly assess the condition of your scalp and hair. Based on trichoscopy, we tailor the treatments to your individual needs, taking into account your scalp’s condition and your hair’s needs.

This allows us to effectively tackle issues like seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, dandruff, and seborrhea. During the treatment, we provide head massages, adjusting them to what feels comfortable.

Contraindications for headspa treatments

1. General contraindications

• Skin infections – any infections, such as fungal, bacterial, or viral, are a contraindication for the treatment.

• Inflammatory and pus-filled skin conditions – e.g., inflamed acne, boils, or pus-filled lesions.

• Allergies and allergic reactions – sensitivity to the cosmetics used during the treatment.

• Skin cancer – any cancerous changes, as well as moles with suspicious appearance.

• Hypertension – may be a contraindication, especially with intense massages, as it may affect blood pressure levels.

• Tendency to broken blood vessels – individuals with visible, enlarged blood vessels may experience a worsening of this condition.

• Epilepsy – any stimulating treatments, including head massages, may potentially trigger a seizure in individuals with epilepsy.

2. Contraindications for scalp and hair treatments

• Scalp psoriasis – massage or other treatments may irritate the skin and worsen psoriatic lesions.

• Seborrheic dermatitis – treatments may worsen the condition of the skin in cases of excessive sebum production or the presence of inflammation.

• Recent injuries and wounds on the scalp – any abrasions, scratches, or fresh scars are contraindications for treatments.

• Any surgical procedures on the head and neck – e.g., fresh scars from surgeries.

• Hair extensions and dreadlocks. Extensions and dreadlocks can be easily damaged during treatments and might make cleaning the scalp more difficult. Massage and various care techniques can weaken the attachments of extensions or damage the structure of dreadlocks, affecting their appearance and durability.

3. Contraindications for facial, neck, and décolleté massage

• Inflammatory conditions of the facial nerves – such as trigeminal nerve inflammation or neuralgia, which may intensify pain or worsen the condition.

• Active acne and facial skin inflammations – massaging areas with inflammation may worsen the problem.

• Vascular conditions – such as varicose veins or spider veins on the neckline and face, which may become irritated.

• Fresh aesthetic treatments – such as Botox, hyaluronic acid, chemical peels, or laser treatments – massage may lead to improper distribution of the products and worsen the results of the procedure.

• Cervical spine issues – neck massage can be dangerous for individuals with cervical disc disease or other spinal conditions.
